- Troubleshoot production issues - normally involving web services, kubernetes, databases, load balancers
- Define, implement and maintain Cloud Authorization Policies and Authentication Infrastructure
- Design, implement and maintain Cloud Networking and Security Features
- Build, scale and extend multi-datacenter Kubernetes Infrastructure (EKS)
- Write Terraform modules for Infrastructure and Application Provisioning Automation
- Availability to be in on-call rotation for Production issues
- Availability to work with a distributed team in different timezones
- Experience with production troubleshooting (6 months or more)
- Programming, scripting (eg. Perl, Python, PHP, GoLang, Java, etc)
- Experience with Monitoring and observability tools; e.g. New Relic, Nagios/Icinga, Grafana, Prometheus. Open Source preferred.
- Working knowledge of modern cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS
- Working knowledge of modern Linux distributions (Enterprise Linux or Debian based)
- Troubleshooting production performance/service degradation or outage issues at scale
